Job Description

Position: Talent Acquisition, Coordinator Reports to: Head of Talent AcquisitionLocation: Onsite/Remote (remote through pandemic)
EssentialThe Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a critical role on the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for scheduling interviews, managing the recruiting process, and building candidate relationships. This role will serve as the primary candidate advocate, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and a seamless interview process. You will learn how to build scalable recruiting programs, interview processes, organizational design and recruitment strategy. This position is for someone who may not have extensive experience in full-cycle recruiting but is eager to learn.   • Scheduling phone, video-conference and in-person interviews; working directly with candidates and hiring managers, and arranging candidate travel as required.
  • Providing follow-up to candidates, including status updates via phone and email.
  • Tracking and reporting on recruiting activities and candidate status.
  • Coordinating and scheduling post-interview debrief meetings.
  • Help ideate and execute on recruiting events (meetups, hackathons, networking events).
  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.
  • Manage our ATS (applicant tracking system), assisting in the creation of new positions, writing job descriptions, updating existing job descriptions. Review inbound candidate applications and determine qualification.
  • Manage our employer brand amp; presence on multiple job boards (Glassdoor, BuiltinLA, AngelList, SoCal Tech, etc.).
  • Consistently evaluate our entire recruitment process and make recommendations on how we can make the Ritual interview experience easy, informative and positive for all candidates.

  • Sociable. You must be able to manage email, phone and in-person communication with many types of personalities. As recruiters we are often a candidate’s first experience with Ritual as a company and we need to make sure it’s a positive one.
  • Inquisitive. Good recruiters understand and can speak to every position within a company. It’s important that you have a strong desire to learn how our company operates.
  • Poised. It’s no secret that recruiters sometimes deal with sensitive and delicate situations. Remaining calm and handling these with tact is extremely important.
What You Need:
  • Education: BS/BA in psychology, sociology, human resources or business preferred but not required. Equivalent experience also accepted.
  • Experience: Min 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced in-house or agency recruiting environment. Experience with complex scheduling and logistics is also accepted.
  • Experience in an external customer facing role that has taught you the value of building and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing an ATS (Lever, Greenhouse, Taleo, Google Hire, etc.) in a previous role. We use Lever, so that experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience writing job descriptions across multiple departments.
  • Understanding of the technology landscape in Los Angeles, an affinity for learning about businesses and how they utilize technology.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
  • Experience with candidate sourcing, full-cycle recruitment experience highly preferred but not required.
