Position: Senior Video EditorReports to: Studio DirectorLocation: Onsite/Culver City (remote through pandemic)
EssentialRitual is looking for a talented Senior Video Editor to help bring ideas to life, collaborating across the creative team and company. This person should get excited about executing and finding unique solutions to creative challenges. You will primarily work within a new arm of the creative team on acquisition-focused projects, partnering with a Copywriter, Art Director, and Photographer/Videographer. This work will directly impact the growth of the company and the evolution of the brand’s creative identity. 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.What You’ll Do:

You will primarily work within a new arm of the creative team on acquisition-focused projects, partnering with a Copywriter, Art Director, and Photographer/Videographer. This work will directly impact the growth of the company and the evolution of the brand’s creative identity. 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.What You’ll Do:
- Input on upfront storyline strategy/storyboards to ensure the proper format/assets are captured in production.
- Own the post-production process of video assets, working with multiple media formats (video, photography, motion graphics, audio, etc).
- Work primarily on acquisition-related work to create and test ads that advocate for the consumer’s needs without compromising Ritual’s creative standards.
- Working closely with the marketing team to identify iteration opportunities based on performance data.
- Collaborate with the larger Creative team on brand assets that live across social, site, experiential, email, and more.
- A Brand Guardian. You have an eye for living and breathing the brand's aesthetic, color, typography, icons, and use of space.
- You understand and accept that a brand's identity rules all. You are efficient and careful in your work and don’t allow anything to slip.
- A Creator. You have a passion for bringing ideas from all over the company to life.
- Data-Informed. You are not afraid to test amp; learn, and work quickly to adjust your approach and assets based on new data.
