We’re looking for a colleague who is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their best health, from head to toe.
The ideal candidate is a health behavior change content strategist, editor, and writer. You excel at creating curricula and digital health interventions that include short-form lessons, push notifications, videos, audios that are delivered as part of a members day-to-day interactions with our mobile apps.
This program design, interventions, and content are in service to building knowledge, activating skills development, and fostering sustained behavior change. If you love writing, communicating, and finding ways to connect with the needs and inner strengths of individuals who are at varying stages of their health journey, this will be a great next role in your career.
To summarize, you’ll plan and design programs and create, edit, and manage the development of original digital health content for delivery throughout our mobile and web app experience.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be content lead for our physical activity/musculoskeletal program team, working with a multidisciplinary team of product and design, clinicians and coaches, other health experts, and software engineers
  • Write/edit and direct freelancers and subject matter experts in creating lessons, infotainment articles, audios, videos, bot conversations, and more
  • Translate strong science and health info into actionable content and content-driven interventions
  • Bring your micro storytelling expertise to enhance rich media elements in our programs
  • Design new programs to prevent or manage chronic mental and physical conditions, and avoid tertiary complications
  • Work to understand and leverage platform functionality and machine learning for member, program, and population health outcome goals
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital communication, health communication, journalism, English, a related field or clinical degree with extensive communications experience
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in digital content development and deployment
  • Excellent communication and writing skillsExcellent editing and creative shaping skills
  • Excellent listening and synthesis skills when working with consumers, engineers, and clinical experts
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Experience in content management and content management system platforms
  • Able to work independently
BONUS SKILLS
  • Experience as an exercise physiologist or certified fitness trainer
  • Coursework or experience in public health and/or instructional design
  • Experience in producing accurate and engaging health programs and content for consumers
  • True desire to empower people to embrace habit forming and healthy changes for health and wellness
