ABOUT THE JOB
The Director of Commercial Operations provides sales operational leadership and acts as the owner of all commercial operations activities, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Management teams. The Director is responsible for project management with respect to sales tool setup and integration as well as sales enablement platforms implementation and adoption.
The Director leads all operational aspects of the commercial team, including territory planning; sales compensation administration; sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes; Salesforce database building, maintenance, and pipeline management; and providing ongoing and ad-hoc data analysis and reporting. Additionally, the Director will oversee the commercial operations team, which manages Salesforce, events logistics and execution, RFPs (Requests for Proposals), Deal Desk Mgmt., Lead Generation email campaign execution, and Contract Administration.QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 10 years’ experience in Sales and Sales Operations related functions within the healthcare or healthcare technology industry
  • Experience managing Salesforce instances for commercial operations, including sales, marketing and client services. Ability to devise Salesforce infrastructure and adapt it to evolving business needs while ensuring and improving data quality
  • Strong understanding and experience with strategic planning and execution, including working with Sales and Marketing departments to develop and execute sales/marketing strategies
  • Experience building analytics and reporting associated with sales financial forecasting
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert in sales analytics/methodology and the disciplines necessary to drive efficient sales execution at scale
  • Experience working with sales enablement tools such as Salesforce (SFDC), Groove.io, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, Braze, RFPio, LinkedIn Navigator, etc
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills, including presenting to C-level executives in a consultative manner
  • Attention to detail and flawless leadership execution
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be able to work in a virtual and remote environment as required
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
