You will be working on a team of pioneers to deliver the best possible care to patients each day. You will be part of a remote, but tight knit team working together to continue to push the boundaries of what excellent virtual care is.
You will be offering all types of care (adults + peds), primarily through video visits, but also messaging as well. You will be seeing patients from multiple states, and we will work with you to get you multiple state licenses. You will be at the complete forefront of the fight against coronavirus, working in tandem with our chain of physical clinics that are also testing facilities for coronavirus. You will be working with our own custom built EMR that is completely around our care delivery and will have an opportunity to help improve our technology. - See both children and adults for acute care issues, as well as providing guidance about primary and longitudinal care primarily through video-based platform
- Consistently provide a world-class level of quality and patient experience
- Helping rethink how to deliver the best virtual care and provide feedback as we create new innovative virtual care programs
- Respond to patient messages and lab results during shift
- Coordinate care with central support, referral specialists, clinic based providers, and external providers
- Prescribe medications remotely as needed via our custom built EMR
- Be able to seamlessly blend in-person care with virtual follow-up and vice versa
- Help triage patients to higher levels of care with excellent, safe hand-offs (Medically appropriate warm hand offs)
- Work in a care team model with other NPs PAs and MDs
- Medical/Master’s degree and certification
- Valid unrestricted state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and current national certification in the Washington, DC
- Maintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted Washington DC DEA license
- State license in WashingtonDC, Florida, Georgia, and/or North Carolina
- Additional state licenses in Maryland, Virginia, or South Carolina (preferred)
- Willing to get licensed in all the other states for this region
- Shifts are 9am - 7pm; 7 days a week; Availability to work a combination, including some weekends and holiday
- Ability to consult and treat patients of all ages
- 3 + years of clinical experience in a physical care setting (Primary Care, ER or Urgent Care)
- 1+ years or more of experience practicing in a virtual setting (preferred)
- Able to maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
