As a Pharmacy Dispenser / Pharmacy Assistant you will instantly become a valued member of our pharmacy team, helping ensure our customers and patients get the best possible service at all times.Through your passion to deliver a great healthcare service and your ability to provide professional advice, you'll play an important role in your local community.
Working DayDay to day responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;Labelling and dispensing prescriptions (Under supervision where applicable)using dispensary computer system and in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate mannerDispensing (Under supervision where applicable) controlled drugs and make necessary entries in the CD register in accordance with standard operating procedures and complying with relevant legal controlsBuilding relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers and other healthcare professionalsMaintaining stock control and cost effective purchasingMaintaining dispensary cleanliness and standardsManaging our patients and care home monitored dosage systems dispensingEfficiently organising workload and dispensary layout to ensure efficiencyProviding assistance in completion and organisation of pharmacy paperworkLiaising with customers via phone / email / live chatGood attention to detail and high levels of concentration
About YouYou will have a minimum NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy ServicesAt least one years previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or working as a Pharmacy Advisor (Dispensing Assistant) within a pharmacy environment. An NVQ level 3 would be desirable but not essential. Great work ethic and natural team player is an absolute must.
