We are looking for an Account Director to help foster our growth plans on the West Coast or the East Coast of the United States.

Our highest revenue clients are the world’s largest Enterprises. These clients are complimented by a strong small/medium business base and developer community. We provide Messaging, Voice, Video, and Verification services via one platform removing the complexities of customer engagement for our clients.

The essence of the role

We are looking for an Account Director who can bring Large Enterprise Sales expertise and a high degree of focus to high-profile existing account cross-sell and upsell business opportunities. We have two territories open, one on the West Coast and the other on the East Coast.

This role will work closely with our Account Management department and focus on taking our existing Large and Growth accounts to the next level. This is an Individual Contributor role that requires a self-starter and customer-first mentality.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five (preferably 7-10) years of industry enterprise Sales and/or Account Experience.
  • Background can be Telecom and/or Enterprise Software.
  • Able to manage the entire sales cycle from demand generation, qualification, presentation, and closing.
  • Strategic leadership ability and relationship building skills.
  • High energy and motivated personality who can drive revenue growth.
  • Background in software/SaaS/CPaaS or other related Enterprise Sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in previous roles.

In order to succeed in this role you will:

  • Build business by identifying and selling opportunities to existing customers, maintaining relationships with existing large clients.
  • Identify business opportunities by and analyzing sales options as well as working closely with our Product and Customer Success organizations.
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions that are both cross-sell and up-sell focused.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Forecasting business accurately and maintaining Salesforce for CRM.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
