Job Description

Sinch is a key player in the rapidly expanding CPaaS space and brings businesses and people together through tools enabling personal engagement. Our customers are global enterprises and local startups, looking to enrich their engagement with their customers. To achieve that, they use our communications platform and APIs.

We have experienced solid expansion through both organic growth and acquisitions. The opportunities continue to multiply, attracting SoftBank to invest $690 million last quarter. To properly meet the demands that we are fortunate to have, we are stepping up sales execution through partners.

To head this initiative and drive the global partner strategy for our collaborations we need a Head of Group Partner Management.

The essence of the role

Sinch is accelerating its strategy to deepen partnerships with global cloud platforms, Application Service Providers and Systems integrators. Already today, Sinch’s APIs and software are built into several of the world leading marketing clouds, service clouds and more, generating billions of transactions every month. But we must continue to evolve and our partner programs are a key to that.

As the Head of Group Partner Management you will develop and execute the partner strategy on a global level and drive the sales transformation in line with the needs of Sinch’s evolving product portfolio.

The role incudes building and heading a small team of direct reports and ensuring the implementation of the strategy with the help of a larger team spanning across different functions and regions.

Key focus areas include:

  • Define, execute and follow-up on strategy
  • Define metrics and dashboards to set clear and measurable targets as well as governance
  • Support marketing to create and evolve value propositions per partner category
  • Drive business development of global partners
  • Define and drive an automate Partner program and partner web in collaboration with Marketing
  • Organizational development and global alignment of the function
  • Create business models and (with legal) the legal framework for partner agreements
  • Identify opportunities to create channel programs that fuel new pipeline opportunities for our sales teams
Who are you?

In order to succeed in this role, we look for someone who thrives in and has experience from a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Additionally, you have superb interpersonal and negotiating skills and the ability to drive change.

  • 12+ years in partner, channel or alliances management positions for an international CPaaS, SaaS or software B2B company
  • Proven track record in working with partner organizations and paving the way for successful joint business opportunities
  • Experience negotiating and signing complex partnership deals
  • Experience leading global teams across the organizations, and both direct and indirect reports

Location of the role will be one of the following: Stockholm, Sweden; Atlanta GA, US; Munich, Germany or London, UK
