Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:The Associate, Portfolio Oversight position is based at our corporate headquarters in Los Angeles and supports the lead Portfolio Oversight for one or more CIM Investment Funds.The Associate, Portfolio Oversight role is an integral part of the CIM team. You’ll work in a supportive, growth-oriented environment and gain valuable experience enhancing portfolio performance, composition, and asset management, guiding internal and external communications on portfolio related matters and serving as the main point of contact for product-specific fundraising initiatives. You’ll also gain experience in product development, acquisition and disposition analysis, investments, co-investments, and more.In this role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert on the strategy and underlying investments within an assigned portfolio to ensure decisions regarding individual assets are made with an eye toward the overall impact on the portfolio. You’ll also assist with creating new products, including the launch of new funds and co-investment opportunities, and work with existing and prospective partners and co-investors to support fundraising activities.Top performers in this position are dedicated, self-motivated individuals with at least a year of prior experience in real estate, investment banking or related field.
