Requirements
Responsible for performance testing using Micro Focus LoadRunner suite. The candidate will be responsible for script generation, execution, analysis, and reporting.
Qualifications - Required:
- 2 to 5 years of performance testing experience using MF LR Suite (script generation, execution, analysis and reporting)
- In-depth knowledge of web technologies with respect to performance validation (understanding of application infrastructure, networking, etc.)
Qualifications - Preferred:
- 1 to 2 years of experience working with cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/Google)
- Prior exposure to cloud migration efforts
- Knowledge of monitoring and performance/diagnostic tools (application insights/ AWS cloud watch / X- Ray/OMS)
- Expertise in web (http/html) and AJAX TruClient protocols
- Prior experience with SAP performance validation
Job Duties:
- Gather non-functional requirements needed for performance engineering.
- Identify and update PE tasks in TFS/ADO or any other tracking tool used on the projects.
- Design performance test business processes via LoadRunner
- Setup and execution of performance scenario via MF LRE
- Provide documentation of performance transaction definitions from scripts, scenario load matrix profile and test execution results output.
- Execute single user analysis for all the critical user actions using developer tools
- Provide estimates and prepare plan and test strategy.
- Lead technical review and RCA to identify/remediate performance issues
- Attend regular project calls and provide both written and verbal updates upon performance status to the project team.
- Ensure awareness and provide alert to team leads and managers in the event obstacles, issues or risks are encountered
Must Have
- Performance Testing Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience using Micro Focus Load Runner suite
- Web Technologies Experience: In-depth knowledge of web technologies with respect to performance validation (understanding of application infrastructure, networking, etc.)
Preferred:
- Knowledge of migration applications to the cloud
