Job Description

Single Digits is a leading provider of intelligent managed networks, next generation Wi-Fi solutions, High-Speed Internet Access management and global support solutions. The company offers complete guest and resident internet and connectivity solutions, including components of IP network design, engineering, professional services, ongoing maintenance, networking monitoring, multi-lingual support, revenue reporting and authentication tracking. Single Digits currently serves over 3300 customers across the hospitality, student housing, MDU, transportation, and federal and municipal government facilities.

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the accuracy and execution of all employee data and everyday HR operations. This is a fast-paced, high exposure, hands-on role to help scale Single Digits growth.

Requirements

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly, multi-state, domestic and international payroll
  • Process new hires, separations and all employee changes
  • Review monthly invoices for accuracy
  • Administrator of all employee benefit plans
  • Daily point of contact for employees related to payroll and benefits
  • Handle HR compliance items, such as 401k audit, 401k testing, payroll and tax
  • Provide frequent HR KPIs
  • Assist with HR projects and strategic initiatives
  • Be creative and find new ways to be more efficient and streamline processes
  • Strengthen and improve employee experience programs
  • Provide support and guidance to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Manage employee inquiries and respond to all questions regarding benefits, systems, company programs and policies

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a busy HR department
  • Payroll experience is a plus
  • Experience working with ATS and HR systems is preferred, Workable and Paylocity is a plus
  • Must place a strong focus on customer service and act with a high level of integrity, professionalism and discretion
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver messages with composure and tact
  • Must be a motivated self-starter who can resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully interface with all members of the team and build successful, long term relationships with all members of the organization.
  • Must be able to support, consult and influence a wide range of personnel
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks while remaining professional
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
