Data Engineer
Looking for a software engingeer for 1 year contract position:
10+ years experience
- Conducts research and resolve problems
- Analyzeuser needs, determine requirements.
- Provides technical support, advice, and consultation with the issues relating to supported applications.
- Creates test data, conduct interfaces and unit tests.
- Assures quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications. Invests effort in learning domain knowledge and becoming an SME for the application and business function supported by the team.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
- Understands and participates to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and works with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
Candidates need to have background in backend of model analysis, model analysis and infrastructure
- Responsible for model risk, model risk tech, support corp market risk business group, mission is model governance and model validation. Models can be various, market risk models, some other models predictions trends, most models relate to reporting, when models are developed they go through validation before being used in real scenarios.
- Responsible for validating, heavy data scientists, tech savy (manage their environment using anaconda, etc).
- Must UNDERSTAND SPARK;how it's working, etc.
- Understand how to manage python environment, create virtual environment in each data scientist can work, and hand them off to data scientist.
Knowledge of data science is a MUST, need to know how these things are working, they should have background in bringing their own environment, supporting data scientist.
