The Role
Zappi is now hiring for a sharp, commercially-savvy go-getter dedicated to building our account based marketing (ABM) program.
As customer-obsessed researchers, engineers, marketers, and account managers, we strive to understand how we can answer our customer’s business questions faster, cheaper, and better. However, account-based marketing at Zappi is in its early stages. We’ve experimented, learned from failures and wins alike, and now it’s time to take it to the next level.
As manager of the ABM program, you’re a silo-breaker at heart. You’ll need to be a marketer disguised as an account manager and vice versa. Marketing will have taught you to think across channels, tweak and scale messaging for a variety of audiences, and manage simultaneous campaigns. Account management will have taught you what it means to build an account plan, connect with the customer right in front of you, and remain determined in the face of no. You’ll be a member of the marketing team, but will work hand-in-hand daily with account managers to scale our ABM campaigns tailored to single accounts, our core industries, target buyer personas, and buying stage. You’ll be asked not only to back our big acquisition targets with content and creative outreach, but optimize our cadences with existing customers based on their stage and buying behavior. You are a fit for this role if you are a curious and entrepreneurial person eager to drive a high-impact initiative. You will be successful if you’re a confident relationship builder, have a data-driven mindset, and don’t limit your own creativity to cut through market noise.
