Our Sr. Claims Advocate will handle large amp; complex client Workers Compensation, Automobile, General Liability and Property insurance claim matters for Risk Strategies’ clients.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling insurance claims presented by RSC clients and/or as assigned by Claims Practice Leader. Duties include advocating for the client, maintaining an active diary, transmittal of documentation and follow-up correspondence to the client and carrier.
- Providing information/documentation to adjusters and other company personnel as requested
- Handling Account Executive inquiries and provide loss information when necessary
- Assisting client in assembling and submitting their claim to the carrier
- Preparing and assist in claim reviews and annual stewardship meetings with TPAs/Insurers
- Establishing claim reporting procedures and protocol
- Creating/Reviewing existing and manage special claim account handling instructions and/or Claims Manual
- Assisting in the selection of a claim service provider including creation of RFP’s
- Monitor, review, amp; evaluate the claim services: insurer(s) and TPA’s
- Reviewing utilization review and medical payments schedule by insurer if necessary
Requirements
- 10+ yrs. Commercial Lines claims experience
- Valid Pamp;C Broker’s license preferred
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Agency management system knowledge required, AMS 360/Work Smart preferred
