Job Description

The essence of the role of the Lead Guest Services Representative is to give direction to the Guest Services staff (while also being an exemplary member of the team), oversee staffing the team’s schedule in a shared calendar, assist and report directly to the Spa Director with hiring and training, provide Manager on Duty coverage, and assist the Spa Director in any other manager responsibilities requested.

*The Spa at the Inns of Aurora, by Rasa Spa, is a brand new 15,000 square-foot building set to open in the spring of 2021. The Spa offers a holistic approach to wellness for body and mind that promotes deep healing and harmony within a luxury setting surrounded by nature. Housing 10 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy options, and a large outdoor co-ed sauna, The Spa at the Inns of Aurora, by Rasa Spa, is truly a destination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience managing a team of 5+ employees
  • Prior experience in retail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to complete and report tasks in a timely manner
  • Flexibility with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferences

  • 2+ years spa management experience
  • Experience working in the spa industry
  • Proficiency in current spa booking software

Special Requirements

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to move quickly through 15,000 square-foot space, including up and down stairs

Job Duties/Tasks:

Direct Supervisor for the Guest Services team

  • Serve as an outstanding member of the Guest Services team
  • Assist the Spa Director with the hiring and training process for the Guest Services team
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and training of all Guest Services staff members, with direction from Spa Director
  • Supervise the performance of Guest Services team, with direction from Spa Director
  • Create any new Guest Services policies and procedures in conjunction with the Spa Director and ensure they are maintained and followed by the Guest Services team

Additional Responsibilities

  • Report any concerns or issues to the Spa Director
  • Complete additional job duties/tasks as needed
