Thought Machine is looking for an expert in banking products to help design and build such products in Thought Machine’s core banking platform. You will have worked with banking product design and specification and have first hand knowledge of how these products operate, including mortgages, checking accounts, savings, loans and credit cards.
You will be responsible for identifying, enhancing and delivering these products across the US Regions. You will work closely with your equivalents in the EMEA and APAC regions ensuring global alignment.
You will be a core member of the Global Inception team (internal Client project team), who are responsible for delivering relevant financial products to the market, Globally, acting as accelerators to aid the implementation of our Vault platform.
DUTIES
- Design banking products for new markets or for new banking clients
- Enhance financial products to ensure relevance to local banking/client needs
- Research product features both at federal and state level to produce product/feature variations
- Work with technical teams to aid the implementation of these products in Thought Machine’s smart contract system
- Produce design documents detailing all relevant aspects of the product for build
- Manage engagements across sales, and project services to create a backlog and roadmap for financial products
Requirements
Essential
- Experience working in the retail banking industry in North America
- In depth knowledge of how banking products across deposit and lending operate
- Previous product experience in loans, credit cards, checking accounts and mortgages
- Knowledge and awareness of financial services regulation in America
- Able to work within a cross functional environment particularly with Sales, Product, Project Services and Engineering teams
- Excellent analytical approach and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- You’re based in the NYC area
Desirable
- Experience of working in multiple American markets
- Previous experience implementing/delivering retail products to clients
