Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze and evaluate financial information associated with the program(s) or department forecasts and cost pools for budget, forecast, pricing, planning, invoicing and control
- Monitor actual costs of program and compares to budgeted costs to identify and understand variances
- Interpret data to determine present and future financial performance
- Develop and maintain estimates to complete / estimates at complete
- Perform month end close activities for assigned programs
- Perform studies and summarize recommendations related to investment/business opportunities, future trends and impact of governmental requirements/financial regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a program analyst
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret as a minimum)
- Knowledge of CPFF, FFP, and Tamp;M project tracking
- Comprehensive knowledge of Costpoint
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills - knowledge of formulas (e.g. vlookups), pivot tables, etc.
- Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze data and reconcile financial accounts
- Considerable knowledge of Truth In Negotiations Act, Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulation
- Considerable knowledge of revenue recognition practices
- Effective and clear communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
