The Program Manager is responsible for the overall execution of a specific program or programs, the reporting thereof and the customer relationship. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the program is designed, engineered, planned and managed throughout the contract’s life cycle per the customer’s requirements and expectations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide contract execution oversight and management
- Establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives
- Tracking major project task implementation and completion
- Meets with customer to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items
- Preparing reports to satisfy company policies and government contractual mandates, to include monthly and quarterly activity reports (deliverables and/or services rendered), funding execution and projections to include labor and other direct costs, and interim progress review reports.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship - all positions require a U.S. Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related discipline
- 8 years’ of management experience or equivalent leadership in Military service, Program Management or Leadership experience
Required Skills
- Experience utilizing associated technical systems and software platforms.
- Proven ability to lead and direct challenging projects and execute assignments independently within scope.
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management and ability to provide overall technical, schedule and cost direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to include public communication.
- Proficiency with MS Office Tools including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
