Key Responsibilities amp; Accountabilities:
- Consolidate and reconcile the annual operating budget, forecasts, Long Range Plan and actuals to help ensure alignment between financial metrics and the strategic direction of the business
- Create and maintain reports to enable FPamp;A to analyze trends, metrics, performance, and projections of future spend
- Monitor actuals integration feed, import timesheet data, perform reconciliations and produce Quarter End/Year end reports
- Lead implementation and enhancement processes for FPamp;A systems, including planning and setup of financial systems, reporting capabilities, and related processes
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers and deliver financial plans and analyses that lead to effective and insightful decision making
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and operating expenditures; contribute to quarterly variance analysis and commentary
- Collaborate with PMO and IT to ensure system maintenance is conducted following SDLC and Governance processes
- Maintain system documentation and conduct end user training as needed
- Identify and drive initiatives to further leverage financial systems, streamline process flows, and craft systematic methods for efficient data analysis and processing, reporting, and analysis
- Identify areas of opportunity for process optimization
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reports as needed

- Financial statement knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
- System knowledge including Oracle Fusion, Adaptive, and similar systems

Education amp; Relevant Work Experience:
- BS/BA in accounting, finance, or economics
- 5-8 years of financial analysis experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with public company
