Job Description

  • Reconcile bank statement and trace discrepancies for clients
  • Process vendor bills received for payment
  • Download and code all credit card transactions
  • Process client invoices to their customers
  • Download and enter revenue from 3rd party applications and/or banks
  • Act as a liaison with 3rd party vendors for routine client’s account information and support
  • Record and reconcile brokerage statements
  • Assist clients with payroll matters
  • Prepare sales and local tax returns
  • Maintain schedules of property and equipment and calculate and record depreciation and amortization
  • Prepare other schedules, account analyses, worksheets and projects as requested by professional staff
  • Assist in preparation of Forms 1099
  • Assist administrative staff during busy season, as needed
  • Maintain Notary Public status (if applicable)
  • Work with confidential client matters
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly or annual compilations
  • Maintain monthly accountings for estates and trusts
  • Other duties as requested

Requirements

Experience

  • At least two years of experience in bookkeeping
  • At least a two-year degree, four-year preferred
  • A bookkeeping certification preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Attributes

  • Fully proficient in QuickBooks desktop and online versions
  • Quickly adapts to new technology and stays current with technology changes
  • Ability to process and reconcile payroll
  • Client-focused to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time while ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment in order to meet multiple deadlines
  • Extremely meticulous with all work product
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize appropriately with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork
  • Positive amp; high-energy
