Firstleaf/Penrose Hill is looking for a Sr. Operations Analyst to report directly to our Chief Operating Officer. In this individual contributor role you will proactively support Operation's financial analysis initiatives. This includes managing contract negotiations, running pricing simulations for cost analysis, upstream integration with winery and bottling line development, wine production planning, logistics and warehouse efficiencies, as well as supporting the trade distribution and customer service team.

A few examples will illustrate some of your challenges:
- You will manage the preparation and review of all Operations budgets and forecasts, complete consolidated reports and analysis for presentations and submission to external parties
- End to end analysis of the supply chain including sourcing bulk wine, dry goods, bottling, warehouse, third party logistics, shipping first mile, middle mile and last mile delivery, and customer service
- Engage in contract negotiation analytics to detail and summarize the financial impacts of the agreement and provide insight into financial advantages and disadvantages embedded in the contract
- Analyze operations department functions and deliver results to the COO on a monthly basis while providing details of the key variances and guidance on the course of action
- Engage with cross functional teams to build systems to track component price premiums and country/channel level forecast for freight and logistics
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with progressive career growth in Finance preferably in a Supply Chain environment. Minimum 3 years of relevant operations financial planning experience.
- Bachelors’ degree in Business or Finance / Operations.
- Advanced Excel skills including macros, pivot tables and data modeling
- Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning Software - preferably NetSuite
- Highly numerate with a sound understanding or what lays behind numbers and drive revenues and profitability
- Strong business acumen
- Experience in foreign currency transaction
- Good understanding of Operations/Supply Chain Management.
- Strong Project Management Skills and ability to manage numerous projects at once, in a fast-paced environment.
