Firstleaf/Penrose Hill is looking for a Senior Director Supply Chain to report directly to Chief Operating Officer. In this multi-faceted role you will proactively lead the execution of the strategy to build the future state of the logistics infrastructure as Firstleaf continues to scale exponentially. You'll also lead and participate in the development and execution of the company's strategic plan, which will incorporate the industry’s best logistics practices and build clear metrics to execute an integrated strategy to transform the supply chain spanning from Sourcing, Demand Planning, Supply Planning. Our logistics function encompasses the collaboration with sourcing team for cost-efficient procurement of raw materials, purchase and movement of juice, bulk wine, the scheduling, production, and movement of finished goods, the use of contract carriers, intermodal and LTL shipment of products from production facilities amp; distribution centers/contract warehouses to the production facility and moving a limited quantity of product between production facilities.

A few examples will illustrate some of your initial challenges:
- Identifying and executing ideas including automation / innovation to drive efficiencies and cost savings in the warehouse environment
- Continuously model and optimize warehousing and fulfillment needs against evolving business priorities
- Develop a capex tracking process to analyze financial returns on investment cases on organic expansion or greenfield projects to ensure that capital allocated is spent efficiently
- Optimizing Firstleaf’s inbound, outbound and reverse logistics to drive excellence in service, quality and cost
- Lead the forecast and reorder process across eCommerce and trade business units
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in Operations, Logistics, Warehousing, Freight for e-commerce businesses
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar)
- Strong financial acumen to manage overall costs and understand the dynamics of 3PL cost model/CPU variance analysis
- Strong experience managing overall forecast, budget, and cost of both Fulfillment and Shipping
- Experience in managing 3PL relationships or direct warehouse operations
- Experience with managing overseas freight and domestic shipping and logistics
- Working knowledge of ERP, TMS / WMS and advanced planning tools for greatest efficiency
- High proficiency in financial modeling
- Expert in Microsoft Excel. Proficient with G Suite applications, including Sheets, Slides, Docs
- Experience of Consumer goods distribution in an international environment.
