Title: Afternoon Warehouse Freight (11am-7pm)
Supervisor: Warehouse Manager
Objective: Responsible for the accurate stocking, loading, unloading and proper rotation of products in a safe and efficient manner with particular attention to the imports and spirits items.
Essential Job Functions:
Repetitive manual handling of half barrels, quarter barrels and cases of beer
Assist in counting inventory as directed
Stock warehouse in an efficient manner ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO) with particular attention to imports and spirits items
Assist with management of location based inventory
Assist with repacking of imports and spirits items as needed
Ensure the proper upkeep of the warehouse
Other duties as assigned
Essential Job Requirements:
High School Diploma
1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication ability
Computer skills including knowledge of word and excel
Forklift Certification is preferred
Flexibility with schedule
Critical Physical Demands:
Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
Occasional exposure to temperatures ranging from 30 - 100 degrees F on a seasonal basis
Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on an occasional basis
