Job Description
Armstrong Flooring Inc. is seeking self-motivated team players to join our Lancaster Floor Plant Warehouse Operations. Employees must be able to work effectively as a team, have good communication skills and willingness to learn/train.
Location: 1067 Dillerville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603
Production/ Warehouse Worker Salary: $18.00/hour
Warehouse
- Unload, Receive, Stock and Containerize materials in appropriate designated locations using inventory control system. Load all LTL and miscellaneous trucks
- Check all assembled orders in pre-assembly location prior to release for loading. Load trucks and coordinate the work of the truck loader, to assure that all trucks are securely blocked and that the load is properly distributed.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required or requested, such as, but not limited to: Handle various materials to re-label, repackage, relocate, or scrap as required
- Assemble material by order or shipment for customer shipments using RDT equipment to select and verify correct inventory. Transfer the material to the correct staging area according to RDT.
Requirements
- Must be able to safely operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks.
- Must be comfortable lifting or manipulating up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Must be able to safely operate mobile equipment such as forklift, ram trucks, platform truck and tractors.
- Must be willing and able to wear all required safety protective equipment .
