Job Description
Huckberry is looking for an Apparel Sourcing Manager to join our growing House Brands team in building world class product lines for our customer. As we rapidly expand, we need someone to effectively manage our supply chain for speed, quality, and agility. We need a strong operational mindset to navigate the global environment and a wide product range to give us a competitive advantage. You will work cross functionally with our development team to lead sustainable sourcing, research and development from our materials to construction.
Responsibilities- Supporting our company objective to maintain a agile supply chain
- Owning our vendor on boarding process to ensure strict compliance with our social and environmental compliance standards
- Building and managing our material file for both development and liability
- Creating raw materials forecasts and communicating with suppliers to reserve capacity
- Owning cost analytics and negotiations with a variety of factories and suppliers
- Integrating factory selection, compliance, and costing into broader go-to-market process
- Partner in setting supplier direction; analyze supplier base and support relationship creation and development
- Research sustainability opportunity for materials to support brand sustainability goals
- Creatively and strategically source and develop new materials to support business needs
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Design, PD, and Merch leads in product development process
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in apparel and footwear sourcing
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient in the Microsoft and Google suite
- PLM experience preferred
- This position is based in Austin, TX
