Your Opportunity:
Maintain all revenue accounting to include managing all recurring revenue billings, recording all recognized revenue and reconciling all revenue accounts
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain billing for all recurring revenue to include setting up net new billings and handling billing requests accurately and timely
- Managing billing ticket requests
- Maintain all revenue to include recording daily deposits and transactions, reconciling all revenue daily, and maintaining accurate reporting of revenue.
- Maintain the revenue general ledger accounts to include the preparation of journal entries, analysis, reconciliation and reporting
- Conduct account reconciliation monthly, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data
- Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes
- Participate in special projects as needed
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Your Qualifications:
- 2-3 years accounting experience and/or BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with billing platforms
- Proficiency with handling recurring revenue and recognized revenue principles
- Experience with month end close cycle
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience and proficiency using QuickBooks
- Technology or SaaS industry experience
- Strong analytical, prioritization and communication skills with the ability to work independently but also partner with management and various teams within the company
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
