Job Description

Paid Internship for recent college graduate; from May August 2021, with possibility of extension through Fall (Remote Working Position)

GENYOUth is a national nonprofit organization in New York, NY that creates healthier school communities. We believe that all students are change-agents who deserve the opportunity to identify and lead innovative solutions to positively impact nutrition, physical activity and student success. GENYOUth’s school nutrition grants increase access to healthy school meals among food insecure students. Our flagship programs Fuel Up to Play 60, NFL Flag-In-School and AdVenture Capital reach over 75,000 U.S. schools and 38 million of students. To help ensure that the 1 in 4 students living in food insecurity continue to receive the nutritious school meals they need during COVID-19 school disruptions, GENYOUth has created the COVID-19 Emergency School Meal Delivery Fund. Schools can apply for grants to purchase equipment and resources urgently needed to get healthy meals distributed and delivered. To raise money, we’ve also created national high profile charitable campaigns and programming (including Taste of the NFL at Super Bowl LV, and the Madden Million Meals Challenge esports and cause-marketing game for good initiative) that engages corporations, foundations, athletes, influencers and individuals to raise their hands with compassion and urgency. Since the start of the pandemic, GENYOUth has helped deliver tens of millions of school meals to the at-risk children who need them the most.
