Job Description

The Program Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of acquisition, implementation, and management of the Bank’s strategic lending partnerships. The Program Analyst works closely with Relationship Managers to provide ongoing oversight and supervision of a strategic partnership. This includes supporting all elements of the partnership including operations, compliance, finance, accounting, legal, marketing and credit. The Program Analyst interacts with each department within the Bank for the program’s to which they are assigned.


Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers in all aspects necessary to manage and oversee assigned strategic lending partnerships.
  • Coordinate, track, and manage the review and approval of program material and documentation such as marketing materials, loan applications, policies, procedures and legal documents.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact, or back up relationship manager, for each assigned partner.
  • Track and report on the resolution of issues, opportunities for improvement, and best practice enhancements.
  • Interact with the Bank’s Compliance dept. and the strategic partner to manage the resolution and reporting of customer complaints.
  • Support Bank management during regulatory exams, internal audits and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support the business development process and acquisition of new strategic partnerships.
  • Support the Implementation process and on-boarding of new strategic partnerships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of consumer and/or commercial financing experience. Credit card experience is a plus.
    • Assertive self-starter, with strong professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently to finish assigned projects.
    • Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues. Flexibility to balance and respond to competing needs within the organization.
    • Excellent ability to analyze complex issues and identify suitable solutions.
    • Ability to interface effectively with other departments and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
    • Knowledge of the current banking regulatory environment including applicable compliance requirements for both consumer and commercial lending products is a plus.
    • Ability to build and execute operational processes.
    • Experience dealing with regulators (FDIC, Utah Department of Financial Institutions) is a plus.
    • Willing to work flexible schedule to finish special projects.
    • Ability to travel if/when such needs arise. Less than 10% of the time.
    • Solid working knowledge of various computer systems, software and changing technology.
