CMT is seeking a Senior Analyst to help with our growing data analytics needs. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams to uncover stories and actionable insights from our data, and communicate these to a wide range of audiences both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who is data-driven, strategic, collaborative, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and scope data analysis requests from internal stakeholders and customers
- Collaborate with various groups within CMT including Customer Success, Program Management, Sales, Product Management and Engineering to uncover stories with data
- Synthesize pieces of data and information to identify problems, size opportunities, and generate hypotheses for solutions
- Communicate key results and insights effectively to a wide range of audiences, including customers and leadership
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agile manner
- Coach and mentor other analysts at CMT
Requirements
- Strong background in statistics, math, computer science, engineering, economics, or another quantitative discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience working with relational data sets in a business setting
- Ability to analyze data trends with statistical techniques and programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience working with data visualization tools
- Experience in extracting large datasets
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Proficiency in SQL preferred
- Experience in statistical hypothesis testing preferred
- Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in quantitative field
