Our partner is hiring a Budget Analyst with an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance to join their expanding firm.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to a Federal Government Budget program. This position is located in Washington, DC and is metro accessible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and advice related to resource management, cost control, performance-based budgetary tracking, and strategic planning.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze summary reports on funding allocations, obligations, expenditures, funds remaining, and projected shortfalls/surpluses for each appropriation and PPA.
- Maintain and analyze spend plans from agency's divisions, monitoring salaries, working capital funds, shared service funds and program funding
- Extract, analyze, summarize and prepare data for presentation from financial systems.
- Perform weekly reimbursable agreements reconciliation.
- Prepare data and perform transactions within financial systems for review and approval by a federal employee
- Assist agency Budget Execution with improving and implementing its business processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree
- Active Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated experience helping clients strengthen management of information technology systems, financial resources, and human resources.
