Job Description

Our partner is currently hiring an experienced Program Performance Metrics Analyst Consultant to support our DHS CISA School Safety team. The successful candidate will work as a member of the engagement team in the area of program management support for a government school safety program. This position is located on-site with our client in the Metro DC area, is metro accessible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in the development and maintenance of a performance management plan to measure the performance, outputs, and outcomes of the School Safety Task Force program
  • Assist federal program staff with the development of concrete and demonstrable metrics and measures of program outputs and outcomes
  • Work with client to develop organizational strategic plans, set goals, develop performance measures, and monitor results as required by GPRA Modernization Act of 2010
  • Perform collection of data and develop a monthly performance management dashboard for identified output and outcome measures of program activities and deliverables
  • Document complex business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement in support of the performance management plan
  • Develops and reviews program and project documentation and client briefings.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experience in working on programmatic strategy and performance
  • Ability to build dashboards to visualize complex data using tools such as Tableau
  • Knowledge of school safety issues is useful but not required
  • Ability to pass client clearance requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, and convey information into client deliverables intended for use by non-technical audiences
  • Experience in business process improvement and developing process flows
  • Ability to operate under minimum supervision where appropriate and understand when to escalate issues to management
  • Ability to interact with multiple project team members and client personnel at various organizational levels in a professional manner
