The successful candidate will work as a member of the engagement team providing the day to day support for a government Policy and Program Analysis office. The ideal candidates will have previous experience providing communications and technical support for government initiatives. The location is Washington, DC and is Metro accessible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support research, analysis, and development of written products for strategy and policy documents
- Interacts with multiple project team members and client personnel at various organizational levels and incorporates technical information gathered
- Supports the development and production of a variety of documents focused on communicating information to Federal government stakeholders
- Prepares agendas, transcribes meeting notes, tracks necessary information, and creates reports
- Create and coordinate meeting support products of professional quality which shall include products free of spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors
- Assists with Stakeholder Engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three (3) years of demonstrated experience writing and editing technical documents
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience with Stakeholder Engagement, Meeting Logistics and Preparation
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with Microsoft Excel and Access
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data
Desired Skills
- Ability to operate under minimum supervision where appropriate and understand when to escalate issues to management
- Works well in a team environment
- Interacts with various levels of the project team and client
- Experience interviewing people for data gathering
- Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
