SDET Test Automation Engineer - Web/Mobile/AI/AR

Geomagical Labs is a 3D AI division of IKEA. We are crafting three-dimensional visual AI algorithms into killer consumer apps for hundreds of millions of users around the world, on web amp; mobile devices.

We have an opening for a talented software engineer with a builder mindset, and an interest in 3D, AR, automation and data, to create automated tools and testing machinery to advance the performance, quality and reliability of our products and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement reliable, automated tests for web amp; mobile 3D apps and cloud services.
• Design effective test strategies to provide solid coverage of key application flows.
• Develop client telemetry and data analytics tools to pinpoint anomalies or bottlenecks.
• Create and enhance load testing tools to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Survey and adopt industry best-practices amp; tools to help developers reduce defects and write better code.
• Collaborate with AI scientists, improving AI algorithm effectiveness.

Requirements

• Computer science degree or equivalent preferred
• Strong coding and software engineering skills - Python or JavaScript or Swift or Kotlin
• Experience creating test infrastructure and harnesses from scratch
• Experience with web testing and QA
• Experience with mobile testing and QA
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative and entrepreneurial.
• BONUS: Skilled at network communication and driving REST APIs.
• BONUS: Experience with live analytics and monitoring.
• BONUS: Experience with security and compliance testing.
