Job Description

You are a strong Technical Recruiter with experience working in a high growth start-up environment. You bring full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting diverse candidates to managing the interviewing process and closing top candidates. You have demonstrated success collaborating with department leaders, especially engineering and product, to understand their teams and hiring needs. You are able to source and attract diverse technical candidates through a variety of innovative and creative means.


Responsibilities
  • Source to fill a strong, diverse pipeline for open positions. Craft and send targeted recruiting messages to passive candidates for current job openings.
  • Screen and sort candidates resumes and applications against job responsibilities.
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities and culture fit. Interview candidates to assess relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Act as the point of contact with candidates, facilitating the interview process, scheduling interviews with hiring managers and interview teams, and building influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Understand PayJoy’s mission, products, services, and culture in order to promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter hiring multi-levels of engineers
  • Technical expertise enough to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles, especially engineering and product
  • Hands on experience with a variety of results-oriented sourcing methods
  • Solid ability to screen applicants and conduct different types of interviews
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and ability to report on recruiting activity
  • Start-up experience strongly preferred
