About This Opportunity
Rockford Construction is looking for an Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of design/build construction projects from start to finish in the Southwest Michigan market. You will organize and oversee the construction process and ensure projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines. In this role, you will also prepare contracts, manage on-site coordination, monitor quality control, market outreach, and all aspects of contract management.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Environmental Factors
The work environment for this position may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction sites. Examples of physical hazards include noise, proximity to moving vehicles, atmospheric conditions, close quarters, uneven surfaces, and elevated surfaces. The individual may also be subjected to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times outside the job trailer. Occasional lifting of 50 lbs. or less.
