Cubii is looking for expert fitness instructors to join our virtual content team and lead fitness classes on the company’s virtual wellness platform. Instructors will develop safe and effective classes incorporating our Cubii compact elliptical for users of all fitness levels. Classes will be filmed in our Chicago studio daily for live and on-demand curated health content.

This role is a contract position with the availability to teach at least one live class per week, (classes may be offered mornings, midday and evenings) as well as record on-demand classes monthly. Candidate must be local to Chicago, IL or have the ability to commute to the city to film content from our studio downtown.

• Plan and program safe and effective virtual group classes for clients of all fitness levels, communicating and demonstrating modifications when necessary on camera
• Record live and on-demand fitness classes at our Cubii Studio in downtown Chicago. Must be local to Chicago, IL and have the ability to commute to the city to film content from our studio downtown.
• Demonstrate proper technique and cuing when teaching
• Curate a music playlist for each class using our streaming platform to build their class structure
• Ability to create a fun and engaging atmosphere to our clients on a virtual platform
• Willingness to teach a variety of class styles with the Cubii compact elliptical, including HIIT, Strength Training, Stretching, Yoga, Pilates, Dance, Balance and Stretching. Based on proper fitness certifications.

• Group fitness certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM are acceptable) or a degree in a related field
• 2+ years of group fitness teaching experience, experience teaching group fitness classes virtually a plus
• Outgoing, charismatic, friendly and tons of energy with the ability to use your voice to keep people motivated and engaged in virtual classes.
• Ability to engage and connect with clients through a camera lens
• Experience working with people of all fitness levels, especially beginners and those with injuries and rehabilitation work.
• Experience with creating and delivering virtual fitness content via social media channels or online platform
• Represent the Cubii brand by engaging with virtual communities via social media and our virtual platform content
• Comfortable and intuitive with learning new technology
• An openness to ongoing feedback and coaching
