Job Description

Cardiac Imaging, Inc. (www.mobilecardiacpet.com) is a leading national provider of mobile cardiac PET imaging services committed to provide cutting edge diagnostic imaging tools to our partnered physicians.

We are currently seeking a PATIENT SCHEDULER to join our team. The Patient Scheduler will work directly with a Physicians Services Coordinator as a team, to accomplish daily patient schedules. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, focused, able to multi-task and motivated to learn within a rapidly growing organization.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. May be required to work occasionally on Saturday morning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Call on multiple client schedules to contact patients to confirm and prep patients for a stress test.
  2. Provide directions to patients regarding how to prepare for the scan and answer any questions they may have.
  3. Manage client schedules efficiently, including working with the Physician Services Coordinator to provide daily updates to our clients.
  4. Track and report daily scheduling metrics and communicate all scheduling items to the Physician Services Coordinator.
  5. Answer all incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service to all callers.
  6. Maintain patient records in billing and scheduling in the EMR system.
  7. Complete patient schedules and forms for our clinical professionals.
  8. Provide updates for all clients to the Physician Services Coordinator in a timely and accurate manner.
  9. Able to multi-task efficiently, and take direction from your team.
  10. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  11. Other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare office or call center environment required.
  • Phone experience is a must; call center experience is a plus.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required.
