TechFlow requires a Network Architect to provide network architecture and systems engineering leveraging Human-Centered Design and use case development methodologies to design and implement business applications.
The Network Architect will assist in enterprise architectural activities while being part of a bigger team actively working to support and design networks on unclassified and classified platforms. This job requires an architect who can analyze the customer’s needs, environment, requirements, and operational objectives to design and implement systems architecture and engineering solutions as a user advocate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with senior business and technical personnel to design scalable architecture.
- Deliver scalable architecture that meets the business goals of the enterprise.
- Evaluate existing Enterprise and mission networks to determine opportunities to consolidate network transport, servers, and equipment.
- Evaluate existing networks and determine more efficient resource allocations.
- Evaluate new network requirements and provide network architecture for incorporating requirements into existing or new networks.
- Work closely to incorporate security requirements into the network architectures.
- Work with office and Enterprise Networks in architectural design and integration of the mission in a classified environment.
- Incorporate CSfC (commercial encryption) data, voice, and video into existing and new networks.
- Work in the network architectural design and stand up of classified mission systems at classified locations.
- Work to establish a connection between customer networks and classified and unclassified CS2 networks.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include Linux and Microsoft platforms and architecture in classified and unclassified C2S networks.
- Demonstrated experience designing classified and unclassified networks.
- Demonstrated experience using type one encryptors such as KG-175d and KG-175f.
- Demonstrated experience with CSfC (commercial encryption).
- Demonstrated experience with multifactor authentication.
- Demonstrated experience implementing network security guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience understanding Commercial Internet architecture.
Education Requirements:
- General equivalency guidelines for education, certifications, and experience are provided below; however, these guidelines do not immediately qualify someone at a particular level. Skill levels for an individual are based upon a combination of education, training, and experience, e.g. someone may have 20 years of professional experience; however, they may only be qualified as Full Performance-based upon the expertise needed to perform the work within that category. General professional years of experience may be substituted for specialized years of experience at a ratio of three (3) years of general experience within an occupation for one (1) year of specialized experience. Relevant certifications will be considered equivalent to three (3) months of specialized experience.
- An Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill will be considered equivalent to eighteen (18) months of specialized experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill will be considered equivalent to three (3) years specialized experience (total equivalency is not cumulative when combined with an Associate’s degree).
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill will be considered equivalent to two (2) years specialized experience (up to a total of five (5) years when combined with a Bachelor’s).
- A Doctorate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline related to the specific skill will be considered equivalent to two (2) years specialized experience (up to a total of seven (7) years when combined with a Master’s and a Bachelor’s).
