Overview

We have an immediate opening for an IT Project Manager to join our Digital Services Team! As an IT Project Manager, you will assist the Program Manager on a high-profile government contract providing Cloud and Applications Management Support for both the Azure and AWS clouds for enterprise and hybrid infrastructure. This role is integral in managing projects and agile teams executing in a range of methodologies and technologies including agile, lean and cloud-native. This role needs someone who is knowledgeable about both business and technology, ensures the project meets scope, schedule, and budget, manages risk, and ensures government receives actionable information in a timely manner necessary to obtain decision/guidance to facilitate project execution.

Location

The primary worksite is at a Government facility in Washington, DC however teleworking may be approved for an alternate worksite. (Due to Covid-19 Work Remotely Temporarily)

Responsibilities:
  • Creates and manages project plans
  • Defines project schedules, allocates resources and monitors progress
  • Aligns project objectives with company goals and ensures agile team is clear on objectives
  • Supports the Scrum teams as they implement the solutions
  • Delivers technology solutions
  • Leads process of issue identification and resolution
  • Manages risk tracking process; monitors and manage scope
  • Oversees all documentation
  • Fosters partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of federal or government related IT project management experience
  • Active PMI-PMP certification
  • Understanding of information technology concepts, design, theories, principles, and practices
  • Direct experience with the following: Agile methodologies, Cloud Technologies (specifically Azure), AI/ML/RPA and DevSecOps
  • Excellent analytical, complex problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to make connections between business needs and technology solutions
  • Experience delivering multiple moderate to complex technical solutions at the enterprise level and an understanding of the foundational cycles of solution implementation
Desired Skills or Technologies:
  • Scrum Alliance Advanced Certified Scrum Master or Scaled Agile SAFe Advanced Scrum Master
  • 3 years or more of Agile methodologies, Cloud Technol
