Med/Surg Nurse/NCLEX Reviewer
$40/hr
UWorld is looking for motivated Medical-Surgical nurses to write and edit content for our web-based products. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses to contribute to the next generation of nurses by reviewing and developing content for our NCLEX question banks (Qbanks). Nurse reviewers follow a schedule that provides a balance of clinical and non-clinical work to maintain their clinical expertise while educating tomorrow's nurses via our innovative and interactive platform.
The Medical-Surgical Nurse Reviewer will utilize his or her experience with the NCLEX to review questions and rationales for our web-based NCLEX Qbank. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills and is passionate about excellence in nursing education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education Required:
BSN required
Must have an Undergraduate GPA of 3.8 or higher
Minimum Experience Required:
Must be a registered nurse (BSN) with at least 2 years of clinical experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing
Preceptor experience preferred
NCLEX tutoring experience preferred

- Proficient in MS Office
Job responsibilities:
Reports to the Nursing Product Manager and reviews content for the online NCLEX Qbanks.
Nursing content production
- Reviews and revises NCLEX questions and rationales for accuracy and clinical relevance
- Provides constructive feedback on content written by other authors
- Applies knowledge that reflects the NCLEX blueprint and standardized examination practices for generation of test items
- Collaborates with management and team members to ensure goals are met
- Works with other content experts to identify topics for new product development
- Assists other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met
- Manages time effectively while multi-tasking
Content revision and quality control
- Works closely with editing and illustration teams to create exceptional content that adheres to UWorld standards
- Responds quickly to user feedback and makes necessary edits to Qbank content
- Works collaboratively with team members to provide and receive feedback with tact and diplomacy
Technical content management
- Communicates effectively with quality assurance team to resolve technical issues related to content in a timely manner
- Participates in ongoing performance evaluation of current test items in the Qbank
- Recognizes and champions the integrity and security of Qbank content and proprietary assets

Time commitment:
- Minimum of 2 days per week, on-site
- Must maintain a clinical position at least 2 days per week
