Job Description

The Digital Marketing Strategist will oversee, develop, and assist in the execution of all marketing campaigns. These activities include content creation, manage online marketing (SEO, SEM, and more), develop digital and email campaigns, run online webinars, execute content marketing programs, and other demand generation programs. The digital marketing strategist will also oversee marketing duties including trade show attendance, creation of mail flyers and communications. The candidate will also be responsible for creating dashboards, reporting, and regularly measuring traditional marketing analytics.


Job Duties: (Including but not limited to)

Search Marketing (SEO and SEM) (10%)

  • Create and implement digital marketing strategies using organic search engine optimization for websites
  • Manage SEM campaigns through design, development, and management, including: campaign structure, keyword research, keyword management, keyword bidding, ad copy writing, A/B testing, landing page optimization, and any other core capability required to maximize results, drive volume, and hit key metrics

Digital Marketing (50%)

  • Building email lists and manage email marketing campaigns
  • Create and implement social media marketing strategies that deliver a quantifiable ROI
  • Manage budget, goals, and schedule of all paid search for multiple portfolios
  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
  • Creation of SEO-friendly content including web pages, blogs, press releases, and ad copy
  • Webinar program support - determine online event topics, drive attendance, manage logistics, and track success metrics
  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Maintain a strong online company voice through social media
  • Lead social media strategy development and program execution for multiple lines of business (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Reddit, Twitch, etc.)

Analytics (10%)

  • Leverage a "test, measure, and refine" approach to consistently improve campaign results and increase the impact of online marketing for student acquisition and profitability
  • Work closely with the company's in-house creative and technology teams to continuously improve the online experience
  • Analyze website traffic reports, linking structures, codes, and content to be able to make smart recommendations to increase website traffic, the number of quality leads, and conversion rates
  • Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates and satisfaction rates

Brand awareness and reach (20%)

  • Manage email marketing campaigns from beginning to end through plan development, targeting, setup, implementation, and reporting/analysis
  • Research and evaluate market behavior, trends and competitors to identify opportunities
  • Optimize campaigns to deliver relevant marketing content to customers and influencers at the right time during the buying cycle
  • Develop program objectives, targets, tactics, and metrics and define best practices, standards, and processes to drive customer acquisition success
  • Initiate and manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospect movement through the demand generation funnel

Management and Collaboration (10%)

  • Leads the design and execution of marketing strategies that meet or exceed client growth, retention and revenue projections
  • Manage both internal and external communications to promote the UWorld brand, ensuring all external communications educate, pique interest, and grow client revenue while strengthening client relationships
  • Assist in general marketing functions to support the sales team with marketing campaign development, event coordination, and work with key alliance partners
  • Ensure brand consistency

Requirements

Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business or relevant field preferred.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Must have at least five years’ experience in digital marketing and/or agency experience
  • Certification in Google Ads and Analytics required
  • Strong experience with marketing and sales CRMs (preferably HubSpot, Salesforce, Copper)
  • Working knowledge of visualization tools, preferably Tableau
  • Familiarity with effective digital ad copy
  • Ability to generate powerful, SEO-friendly, conversion-optimized cam
