UWorld Roger CPA is looking for a talented Business Development Representative (BDR) to cover our Customers and Universities in the northeast. This is a remote role. To ensure success the northeast based BDR would ideally be located in NYC metro; however candidates in the territory will be considered.
The BDR is responsible for developing their market, supporting students, clients and business partners, and driving revenue growth. The BDR will provide a high level of product knowledge about UWorld Roger CPA, the CPA Exam, and other industry information to clients, partners and individual prospects at assigned universities, firms, societies, corporations and government agencies. BDR’s excel at growing their account revenue and enrollments by providing excellent customer service and account management. A successful BDR should be skillful in strategically managing a large territory, driving and nurturing new prospects through the sales funnel, scheduling and executing sales presentations and events, and ultimately growing revenue and package sales in their region.
The BDR is the regional representative for the business and participates in sales and marketing events at accounting colleges and firms in the assigned territory. Overnight travel will be required in various scenarios.
Territory includes New York, New England, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maryland
Primary Responsibilities:
• Execute all elements of a proactive local marketing and sales strategy, including interacting with external clients, prospects and organizations to provide accurate and updated information regarding the UWorld Roger CPA Product, the CPA Exam, and the accounting industry in general.
• Create and execute account-specific strategies for all assigned and prospective accounts in order to grow revenue in an assigned territory.
• Network, prospect and develop professional relationships with all potential and existing customers and clients.
• Identify opportunities for new business and for growth at existing accounts and pursue those opportunities to close.
• Support and maintain existing customer base while continuing to expand market presence and build new business
• Develop and execute individualized sales and marketing strategies within each campus in designated territory. Responsibilities specific to Universities include:

• 3 years sales experience with a proven track record of success and execution with high standards of professionalism
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or related discipline
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals, objective and sales quotas
• Experience working remotely a plus
• Must have reliable transportation. Up to 75% travel required post-COVID
• Strong knowledge of Educational Technology
• Strong strategy development skills
• Self-motivated, high level of initiative, with the ability to work in an unstructured environment (strong operational mindset, decisive, with a "get it done" and deliver results mentality)
• Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work with and influence others without formal authority
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized
• Ability to travel overnight within an interstate territory though air travel and occasionally long periods in a vehicle
