Our newly created job, the Channel Partner Manager, is responsible for achieving sales and profitability objectives by developing and managing the execution of effective marketing strategies for divisional product lines.

THE JOB:

As the Channel Partner Manager, you report to the Chief Revenue Officer, who is based in our Head Office in Toronto. The focus is to:

  • Win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned channel partners and achieve sales, profitability, and partner onboarding objectives.
  • Represent the entire range of MHS products and services for assigned partners often with focus on a specific solution or product set within a particular vertical market.

Requirements

  • A confident and proven leader with experience building and maintaining successful channel/reseller partner programs and relationships.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and iterate channel partner initiatives.
  • An excellent and articulate communicator with outstanding presentation, selling and interpersonal skills, and an excellent knowledge of how technology, sales and channel partners align for success.
  • An effective motivator and influencer and collaborator who can quickly inspire trust and confidence in others and interact effectively with individuals at all levels of organizations (both internal and external) in a cross-functional capacity.
  • A forward thinker and excellent project manager capable of multitasking, prioritizing and responsibly following through to consistently meet objectives and tight timelines while working on simultaneous projects.
  • A very proactive and organized problem solver capable of thinking quickly on your feet, adapting to change, being creative and excelling in a high-performance culture that recognizes results.
  • An energetic and positive people person capable of creating value, securing buy-in and promoting loyalty while demonstrating honesty, honouring commitments, listening objectively and treating people with dignity, respect and fairness.
  • A hands-on, customer-centric manager and high-energy team player who has the drive to succeed and the ability to work equally effectively independently and as part of a group.
  • College and/or university degree in marketing, psychology or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Minimum 2 years in a channel or partner manager role.
