Job Description

Complex is looking to hire a Creative Project Manager to join the Design team. In this role you will play an important and strategic part as a liaison between our internal strategy and design teams. This role will be working with Complex Networks Promotions Team to create timelines for social video and design deliverables across the different Complex Networks Brands.

Can you

  • Own day-to-day relationship across departments; establish strong rapport to facilitate effective two-way communication and maintain a pulse on the client’s strategy and project opportunities.
  • Provide effective communication and prioritization of project goals and execution tactics
  • Resolve issues; communicate with senior staff internally when escalation is needed and appropriate
  • Handle multiple projects and requests within tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail
  • Ensure projects stay on budget and foster an environment of efficiency.
  • Be a strong team-player and tackle new and ever-changing challenges with aptitude
  • Be highly organized with strong time-management and project management skills.
  • Use Air-table to organize day-to-day tasks of multiple editors/animators/designers
  • Be aware of show launch dates and coinciding promotional deliverables
  • Have a general awareness of Social platforms (instagram, facebook, twitter, etc) specs and deliverables
  • Keep an eye on editor/designer bandwidth and adjust timelines, and tasks to get deliverables done in an efficient manner.
  • Work with Producers of individual shows to know when edited shows will be coming in and build in time to create social promotions around shows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience at a design firm, agency, publication, post house, or media company
  • Experience working with designers and an understanding of the creative process is a must
  • Ability to organize information and concisely present issues, recommendations, and conclusion
  • Ability to manage time and resources for multiple projects at one time
  • A natural ability to collaborate with others and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Polished interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work methodically to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of the video post-production workflow is a must
