Complex Networks is seeking an experienced Senior Booker, Branded Partnerships to join the Talent department. The ideal person will be confident in managing every aspect of securing talent as it relates to Complex Networks’ branded campaigns and branded programming including, not to limited to procurement, negotiation, contracting, payment, and managing deliverables on-site and remotely.

Branded campaigns include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: budget vetting, post platform strategy, research, outreach, communication/negotiations with teams/management, deck building (include a min. of double the amount of requested SPUs), bespoke contracting and SOW drafting, communications with Complex Networks internal Legal and involved internal teams, managing product/content delivery and timelines, payment paperwork management and uploading, insights reporting (if requested), and more.


Responsibilities:

Working alongside our brand partnerships team, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and conducting talent/experts/tastemakers for a variety of campaigns/brands, and then managing them through the pre-sale and post-sale phases of a campaign. You will help brainstorm and ideate alongside different sales leads, strategists, social and video teams as it relates to talent, as well.

  • You will work with the Brand Partnership team on branded campaigns that require repped talent participation in any capacity.
  • Actively source talent/experts/influencers/tastemakers on a regular basis utilizing your professional networks and other relevant resources. Procure a variety of talent on a case-by-case basis.
  • Further, establish efficient and effective systems and best practices for the talent procurement process alongside the talent team and brand partnership group. Best represent the talent team perspective as it relates to this process.
  • Work directly with talent and their management on contract negotiations and budget vetting.
  • Serve as the liaison between talent reps, sales, and the branded production teams.
  • Work with Complex’s internal legal team, finance team, and other involved internal teams to manage contract negotiations and payments. Help facilitate the contracting and payment process.
  • Draft SOW’s, offer letters, manage invoices, and manage payment paperwork.
  • Work with internal hosts/network talent on branded campaigns and brand-based opportunities when required.
  • Collaborate with the talent team, strategy, sales, experiential, climate, social, and other cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Attend download meetings, hard cost sessions, and brainstorming sessions with the brand’s team.
  • Have a strong understanding of social media, branded content, and the talent/influencer space.
  • Need to be creative, good at multitasking, and passionate about the Complex brand.
  • Build decks/slides around your procurement per campaign.

Requirements

  • You have 6-8+ years of work experience ideally in a talent firm or relevant agency.
  • You have the ability to build collaborative relationships with teammates and talent reps.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of talent budgets and fees.
  • You are incredibly organized and know how to get the job done in time-sensitive situations.
  • You are a team player; ready to help out across teams as situations come up.
  • You are flexible with time and travel.
  • You will need to work under tight and strict deadlines.
  • You have clear communication skills with your team and the various teams at this company.
  • You are familiar with the talent landscape and understand talent budgets.
  • You have a network of influencer talent you can pull from and great relationships with PR agencies and talent management.
  • You are a trusted partner and work ethically, with integrity and honesty.
