Job Description
As the Security and Risk Management member of the technology team, the Security Developer implements security solutions for the Experience that we are developing by interpreting client requirements, recommending approaches, and developing custom components. The candidate will also maintain a strong knowledge of detecting and preventing existing and emerging malicious vectors of attack. He or she will stay aware of new security threats and propose appropriate solutions. They will collaborate with other team members for transferring security knowledge. Game developers with an interest in security should apply!
Responsibilities
- Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies
- Share skills with team members through both formally and informally
- Propose ideas for application improvement
- Escalate issues on a timely fashion
- Maintains domain expertise
- Build solutions that meet the client expectations
- Actively participate in scrum
- Understand technical and functional designs, suggest alternatives to improve applications, reduce effort, or reduce technical debt
- Identify and troubleshoot system deficiencies, and suggest solutions
- Increase system efficiency without sacrificing quality
- Commit to reasonable timelines and set expectations
- Execute sprint tasks
- Create technical documentation
- Develop through the test driven development approach
- Train junior developers
- Inform team members about the decisions that can have an impact upon their projects
- Actively contribute to shared knowledge base
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must Have
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent years of relevant experience
- MMO game architecture limitations and capabilities
- Common MMO vulnerabilities and exploitation vectors
- Reverse engineering, operating systems internals, binary exploitation
- CSA STAR Levels, SOC reports, SLAs
- Asymmetric encryption
- Certificate management
- Motivated problem solver
- Proficient in English
- Experience in current software development best practices
- Agile and Scrum
Would be Nice
- Knowledge of Azure
- Knowledge of AWS
- Knowledge of C#
- JWT
