Job Description

Earth Class Mail, is looking for a Marketing Manager - Affiliates reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, to lead our affiliate marketing program. As channel manager you will own channel optimization and will be responsible for helping to define, execute, scale, and optimize paid acquisition activities across multiple channels. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced, experiment-driven environment to help integrate digital campaigns with broader growth marketing initiatives. Familiarity with email marketing and paid social marketing is preferred.

Key responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager include (but are not limited to):

  • Full ownership and management of our affiliate program (including affiliate and agency management, optimization and reporting);
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Director to establish specific KPIs and ensure necessary tracking and reporting is in place to measure effectiveness and optimize results for the channels you own;
  • Responsible for day-to day program management (vendor communication, affiliate communication, progress analysis, goal review, affiliate research etc);
  • Responsible for the pre-launch QA process including appropriate conversion tracking, digital assets, audience segments etc for the channels you own;
  • Stay up to date with developments in your field, identify opportunities and recommend updates and new best practices that could result in improved performance;
  • Proactively recommend solutions to improve ROI based on pre-planned campaign goals;
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunity and escalate potential problems as necessary;
  • Provide support to other digital marketing campaigns and activities as necessary, particularly email campaigns and website optimizations;
  • Help with the planning, management, execution and optimization of paid media campaigns in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other paid channels, as necessary;

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent;
  • 3+ years of digital marketing advertising;
  • Experience managing an affiliate program;
  • Experience using ShareaSale or CJ for affiliate management;
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns using relevant tools and platforms;
  • Strong working knowledge of using website analytics platforms (Google Analytics, GTM, Facebook Analytics, Twitter Analytics etc) to set up and troubleshoot campaign tracking;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, make media recommendations, and drive optimizations;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Strong copywriting skills;
  • Experience with running tests to improve campaign efficiency and explore new advertising opportunities;
  • Experience using spreadsheets to create campaign reports and manipulating data (V-Look Up, Pivot tables etc);
  • Work effectively in a fast paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid understanding of Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other advertising platforms;
  • Working knowledge of SEO and CRO tactics and strategies;
  • Strong understanding of different attribution models;
  • Facebook Ads/ Google Analytics certification;
  • Working knowledge of Hubspot or other CRM;
  • Experience with building email campaigns;
  • B2B/SaaS marketing experience;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an acute eye for errors;
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Willing to work with a "no task is too small" attitude;
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrating personal initiative and ownership;
  • Experience managing multiple programs, working under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • A curiosity and passion to learn, stay in tune with industry trends, changes and opportunities, and improve processes;
  • Effective interpersonal communication with drive to collaborate, leverage, and share best practice.
