Salisbury Behavioral Health’s Residential locations are seeking a Recovery Support Advisors serving adult residents in Allentown, Bethlehem and Whitehall.

Our residential locations provide a home-like environment for individuals living with the challenges of severe and persistent mental illness. Recovery Support Advisors provide a wide range of services and supports. As a Recovery Support Advisor, you will assist individuals in our residential homes with daily living skills, social activities, community integration, self-determination, and the transition to independence. Recovery Support Advisors assist in the preparation of meals and work with residents in building skills related to room cleaning, laundry, and medication management. Staff will work with residents in developing group and leisure activities. Residential Support Advisors work in partnership with the individuals they serve to create opportunities for recovery.
Available positions/shifts:
- Full time 40 hours weekly, part time and flex/on-call positions available
- 8 hour/12 hour and 16 hour shifts available
- Typical shifts include: 7 AM 3 PM, 3 PM 11 PM, 11 PM to 7 AM
Residential facilities are open 365 days a year and 24 hours a day
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Accompany and monitor individuals on community trips and appointments.
- Aid individuals with daily activities, personal care activities, cooking, and other household responsibilities.
- Document behaviors of individuals receiving services in daily report log
- Ensure a clean, safe and home-like environment
- Encourage individuals to participate in social and leisure activities to develop and strengthen problem solving skills.
- Promote recovery, ensure the health, safety and welfare of the individuals with the support of a clinical team.
- Monitor, administer and medication management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience helpful but not required training provided
- Pass required background clearances and screenings (FBI, Criminal, Driving, etc.)
