About the Team
The Product Marketing team is the product and market experts on the B2B Product Mix. Product Marketing transforms ideas into products and owns the success of our product line through all stages of its life cycle. Product Marketing understands the marketplace and aligns our products to the market’s demand. The B2B Product Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with the B2B content, sales, tech, and partner development teams on product enhancements and development.
Job Purpose
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for transforming B2B’s wealth of engagement, revenue, advertising, and user data into actionable insights, allowing us to make data informed decisions across all product lines. The Product Marketing Manager will identify new revenue opportunities and product improvements, and efficiently roll out new products to internal and external customers. In this role, team members are responsible for managing a suite of products and systems, primarily related to our content management system (CMS) and reporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with internal customers, including members of the content, partner development, sales, and operations teams, to gather detailed requirements to deliver to the tech development team for prioritized tech projects
- Serve as product owner during the tech development process, ensuring that project teams have the information needed to quickly complete their work and that new products and systems meet the needs of business users
- Manage the rollout process for new products and systems. Leads new product training with internal users, creates and manages documentation, FAQs, including user guides and specifications
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to bring new products to market and play a role in product pricing strategy
- Responsible for marketing collateral creation, including one-pagers, product guides, and other original marketing content needed to generate demand
- Continuously monitor product performance, including internal usage and revenue metrics along with external-facing KPIs (ad and content engagement, CTRs, CPL, open rates, etc.)
- Translates data into compelling sales stories and actionable insights that can be leveraged to support revenue growth.
- Manages the organization’s BI platform (Tableau) and relationship, including but not limited to - dashboard creation and management, permissions, account details, traffic.
- Design, create and monitor Tableau data visualizations for easy internal viewing and sharing company-wide.
Requirements
What do I need to succeed?
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing, product, or data role, preferably in the media or digital publishing industry.
- Demonstrated flexibility and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort presenting ideas to internal and external clients.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Demonstrates leadership, personal accountability, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Thrives in a team-oriented, entrepreneurial corporate environment
- Experience with large audience data sets and an understanding of common data structures
- Proven ability to tell creative stories using data to a non-data audience
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics and experience using Tableau or other BI platforms
