Job Description

Our Commercial Finance Manager provides full financial leadership and partnership to the Product Innovation, Residential amp; Commercial Sales and Marketing teams. Analyze portfolio and channel profitability, strategic planning, operational analysis, innovation pipeline, financial analytics, and systems support. Set financial strategies and goals, determining the financial implications of new initiatives across product and customer and channel segments. You will have a central role in product and sales income and profitability.

Location: 2500 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603 - temporarily 100% remote due to COVID

Commercial Finance Manager Salary: $100,000 - $125,000, based on experience (Gr. 12/13)

How you’ll contribute to the team:

  • Drive business decisions and develop strategic plans with sales and marketing leaders. Understand the market, how our sales work, and create innovation solutions to grow and be more profitable. Deliver a monthly roll-up.
  • Challenge our business teams to maximize profitability. Identify cost savings and understand financial implications of new initiatives and research/resolve variances. Recommend and execute profit improvement plans.
  • Collaborate on achievable profit objectives for the product portfolio across customer and channels segments.
  • Analyze ROI and ROC business by brand and product line and channel, recommend profit improvement for business building plans.
  • Analyze new product development and innovation ideas and help determine whether they are feasible.
  • Build market profitability through in-depth understanding of marketing spend, sales/trade spend, manufacturing costs, logistics and other drivers. Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure goals are met and contingency plans are in place.
  • Develop and partner with Marketing and Sales leaders regarding financial implications of marketing and commercial activities. Oversee results of decisions and directions taken. Develop, align and measure financial performance on strategic operational and commercial initiatives.
  • Co-lead the development, implementation and execution of Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Revenue Growth Management (RGM) profit strategies and ad-hoc project initiatives.
  • Lead and support business growth by coordinating the business needs within Financial systems. This may also include the development of financial reporting tools, develop and update hurdle rates, new business analysis or exit strategies.
  • Give guidance on Sales Incentive programs, creating solutions that are motivational and help drive sales for the most profitability.
  • Manage and develop 1 Finance Analyst team member.

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Finance degree, Accounting degree or Business Management related fields; Bachelor's
  • 7+ years of increasing financial experience in marketing, product management and sales finance

We'll be excited if you have:

  • MBA
  • Experience managing BW or BI Power BI tools
  • S4/HANA and or SAP experience
  • Experience with IBP / IBM
